How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: New Milton
    Salary: Up to £50,000 Depending on Experience
    Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

    THE ROLE
    As an Experienced Bodyshop Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the bodyshop, ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently, safely and to the highest possible standards.

    You'll lead and motivate the team while overseeing workflow, productivity, quality and customer satisfaction, working closely with key departments to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the site.

    Key Responsibilities:
    ·Manage the day-to-day operation of the bodyshop, ensuring efficient workflow and vehicle throughput
    ·Lead, motivate and develop the bodyshop team, maintaining high levels of performance and engagement
    ·Monitor productivity, repair times, quality and departmental performance against agreed targets
    ·Work closely with VDA/Estimating, Workshop Control, Panel, MET and Paint teams to maximise efficiency
    ·Ensure all repairs are completed to manufacturer repair methods and required quality standards
    ·Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional service
    ·Ensure Health & Safety, compliance and bodyshop procedures are consistently maintained
    ·Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across productivity, quality and overall site performance

    ABOUT YOU
    We're looking for an experienced and commercially aware Bodyshop Manager with a strong background within the accident repair industry and the leadership skills required to drive a busy operation forward.

    ·Proven experience managing an automotive accident repair bodyshop
    ·Strong knowledge of Panel, MET and Paint repair processes
    ·Proven leadership and people-management skills
    ·Experience managing workflow, productivity, quality and operational performance
    ·Strong understanding of bodyshop KPIs and production targets
    ·Excellent communication and customer service skills
    ·Commercially aware with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
    ·Committed to maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and Health & Safety
    ·Professional, motivated and results-driven approach
    ·IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous
    ·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
