How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Client Details

Supporting a large, complex and unionised manufacturing operation, this role sits at the heart of the business and plays a critical part in shaping organisational performance, leadership capability and workforce strategy.

This is far more than a traditional HRBP role. Working closely the site Director and leadership team, you will help steer the people agenda through a period of continued transformation, ensuring organisational change is delivered successfully while maintaining strong employee and industrial relations.

    Description

As a trusted adviser to senior operational leaders, you will:

Partner with the site Director and senior leadership teams to shape and deliver the site's people strategy.
Drive organisational effectiveness, leadership capability and workforce planning.
Lead employee and industrial relations strategy across a unionised environment.
Support the successful delivery of ongoing business transformation and change initiatives.
Coach and challenge senior leaders to build high-performing teams and sustainable business outcomes.
Lead talent, succession and capability agendas to ensure future workforce readiness.
Manage and develop an established HR and learning team.
Influence business decision-making through insight, data and commercial acumen.

    Profile

We're looking for a strategic Senior HR Business Partner who combines commercial thinking with strong operational credibility.

    You are likely to bring:

Significant HR Business Partner experience within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, engineering, supply chain or another operationally intensive environment.
Strong industrial relations and union engagement experience.
A proven track record of partnering senior leaders through transformation, change and organisational development.
Experience coaching and influencing leadership teams.
Strong workforce planning, talent and succession experience.
The ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands.
Credibility, resilience and personal impact, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

    Job Offer

This is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised business in a role with genuine strategic influence.

As Senior HR Business Partner you will inherit a well-established operation, work alongside experienced leaders and help shape the future direction of a significant UK manufacturing site. The successful individual will gain exposure to complex business challenges, large-scale transformation initiatives and long-term career development opportunities within a market-leading organisation.

    Package

    £90,000 - £100,000
    Annual bonus
