Location: Syston
Pay: £13.61 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm Rotating
Job Type: Temporary ongoing
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and physically fit Production Operatives to join the team at Syston.
This is a hands-on role where you will be working as part of a busy production team. Full training will be provided, so previous manufacturing experience is useful but not essential.
What you'll be doing:
Operating production machinery after training
Packing and boxing products
Checking products to make sure they meet quality standards
Completing basic production and quality paperwork
Moving materials using manual pallet trucks
Keeping the production area clean, tidy and safe
Following Health & Safety procedures at all times
Working to production targets and deadlines
Supporting different areas of production when required
Using a computer system to record basic production and stock information

Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role
Able to carry out repetitive tasks and work at pace
Good attention to detail
Able to follow instructions and company procedures
Comfortable working as part of a team
Able to work independently when required
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous manufacturing or production experience is an advantage, but not essential.
A forklift licence or previous forklift experience would also be an advantage but is not essential.
