How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Temporary Exams Coordinator  
        
    We are currently recruiting for an Exams Coordinator to start immediately for 2-3 Months.  The role is located in the Aldgate area, working on a full-time basis and is paying a competitive £20-21 per hour 35K if perm 
    The role will be predominantly office based and slightly varying hours as will be covering the exams period

    WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOR?
    Our client is an established non-profit healthcare membership body. A very well-known institution and household name located in the wonderfully vibrant city of London. 
      
    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    There are three Examinations Co-ordinators, all of whom have responsibility for providing comprehensive administration support for examination activities.  The complexity of the examinations means that it is essential that all members of the Examinations Department work as a team and maintain appropriate cover at all times. 

    Processing candidate applications
    Processing written projects
    Preparing examination materials to send to examination centres
    Invigilating at examinations
    Photocopying, scanning and checking examination scripts to send to examiners
    Collating and checking examination results
    Preparing results letters for despatch to examination candidates
    Dealing with enquiries from candidates, examiners and advisers
    Supporting the workload of Examinations staff ABOUT YOU

    Experience of working in education and/or medical sector, high-stakes or membership environment and/or experience of working under external scrutiny/regulation
    Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
    Experience of working with databases and a broad understanding of their capabilities
