How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description
    The Site Performance Engineer also acts as the local Subject Matter Expert for the CMMS and other systems used to manage maintenance.
    Reporting to the Senior Planner, the Site Performance Engineer’s duties include supporting the Global Operations team, rolling out new initiatives, supplying reports and KPIs to the wider business, and providing cover and support for colleagues during periods of absence.

    Responsibilities
    Engineering Operations & Maintenance

    * Lead and work closely with the Senior Planner, Team Leaders, and technicians to manage work priorities, develop work orders and define required parts, materials, trades, and skills for maintenance activities.

    * Own and manage the flow of all site maintenance work orders by working with the DC Engineering team and vendors.

    * Accountable for thedevelopment,administration, training, and useof the CMMS at local site level.

    * Hold accountability for reporting on incidents and problem tickets; run weekly incident and wash up meetings and ensure actions are translated into controlled Work Orders.

    * Govern project works and asset replacements, aligned with maintenance plans.

    * Drive cross-site coordination with other global site-based Site Performance Engineers and provide support as directed by the Senior Planner.

    * Hold end-to-end accountability for the lifecycle of maintenance work orders, coordinating with operations teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective execution.

    Planning & Scheduling

    * Be accountable for implementing and scheduling preventivemaintenance activities toensure100%uptime andzerocustomerimpact.

    * Own and drive the development of maintenance schedules and resourcelevelling at a site levelwith the Senior Planner by utilising the CMMS system.

    * Maintain ownership of the 52‑week Preventative Maintenance Plan (PPM), including coordination around customer change freezes and internal operational constraints.

    * Oversee and maintain site CMMSassetfiles, equipment, and schedules.

    * Lead the coordination of CMMS software updates with the Senior Planner to ensure changes are managed and implemented without impacting operations.

    * Act as the local CMMS owner and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the CMMS and other maintenance planning systems.

    * Take ownership of planning and scheduling manpower and parts required to perform maintenance activities.

    * Champion the development of CMMS and BMS systems across PDCG sites to optimise maintenance performance.

    * Own the recommendation and implementation of improvements to preventative maintenance programmes based on site experience, data analysis, and lessons learned.

    * Drive the capture of post-maintenance, including vendor reports and post-change learnings, feeding back into the Global Maintenance Standards (GMS)

    * Be accountable for implementing approved exceptions to the maintenance listed in the GMS and managing the Maintenance Requirement Cards (MCI) at site level.

    * Hold accountability for asset lifecycle planning, including obsolescence management, asset replacement planning, and maintenance strategy optimisation.

    Compliance

    Be accountable for statutory maintenance scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure full regulatory and contractual compliance.

    Govern OP, RAMS and maintenance controls to ensure safe, compliant execution of works.

    Enforce formal change control and MCI requirements for all design, asset, software, and firmware changes.

    Responsible for managing and reporting on all change management requests on a local level, including raising change requests for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

    Maintain audit readiness for both internal and external audits.

    Lead the review of planning failures and produce incident reports and corrective action plans as required.

    Procedures & KPI

    Enforce compliance with process workflows by collaborating with the Engineering Operations managers and other key stakeholders to ensure they are followed by the local site team

    Be accountable for delivering agreed internal and external performance targets by working with the Global Technical Operations team and local engineering teams.

    Lead the development and review of reports and KPIs, ensuring alignment across all data centres.

    Own the delivery of weekly and monthly reports and KPIs to relevant departments, ensuring full compliance with agreed targets.

    Drive data-led decision-making using asset, maintenance, and reliability analytics, feeding back to the Global Technical Operations team (GTO).

    Hold accountability for monitoring and reporting on vendor performance related to maintenance against a set standard of KPIs and implement corrective actions if it impacts site reliability.

    Knowledge And Skills

    Experienced in maintenance planning within a critical environment.

    Strong CMMS knowledge and experience (essential).

    Excellent analytical and reporting skills

    Eye for detail on planning work packages.

    Able to solve issues and report back independently to the engineering team.

    Experienced in complex multi stake holder planning to ensure critical path delivery.

    Flexible adaptable and willing to challenge poor performance

    Personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Competent in analysing maintenance, asset, and reliability data to support data‑driven decision making.

    Good understanding of stakeholder management

    Ability to work under pressure and keep calm in a crisis

    Understanding of change management processes.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting, scheduling, and performance tracking.

    Qualifications And Experience

    Minimum 3 years’ experience of CMMS systems.

    proven experience in planning and scheduling in a facilities management or similar environment

    experience working both independently and within a team

    Demonstrated logical and methodical approach to problem solving.

    Work well under pressure and to deadlines and targets

    Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and targets.

    Ability to meet and exceed targets and customers’ expectations
