How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Re‑establish relationships with dormant clients and build new strategic partnerships.

Promote a full suite of certification, testing, and compliance services.

Negotiate pricing and contracts confidently and professionally.

Work closely with commercial teams to develop accurate quotations.

Ensure seamless handover from sales to project delivery teams.

    Promoting Certification & Testing Services

Educate clients on the value of certification, including compliance, market access, and consumer trust.

Present processes, timelines, and costs clearly and persuasively.

Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and promotional initiatives.

    Technical & Compliance Awareness

Understand key certification standards (ISO, CE, UL, FCC etc.) — full training provided.

Stay informed on regulatory changes and manufacturing trends.

Work with technical teams to ensure robust and accurate proposals.

    Reporting & Performance

Track pipeline activity using Dynamics 365 CRM.

Prepare performance reports and attend regular sales reviews.

Analyse feedback and market trends to refine sales strategy.

    Internal Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, commercial, technical services, operations, and client delivery teams.

Support finance with invoicing and payment follow‑ups.

Represent the organisation at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.

Deliver presentations to clients, associations, and sector bodies.

    Technical Skills

Strong commercial awareness and excellent time management.

Proven ability to prospect new markets, clients, and product opportunities.

Confident presenter with excellent networking skills.

Experience in construction products, manufacturing, or 3rd‑party certification (advantageous).

Strong written and verbal communication with excellent negotiation skills.

Experience in or around UKAS‑accredited environments is beneficial.
