What you'll be doing;
Ensure agreed operational targets are achieved in respect of Risk & Assurance performance, all accidents, incidents and close calls are reported on AVA
Plan and deliver day to day operations (staffing levels, resources, closing out events)
Carrying out site inspections and monitoring for VMR and permit compliance
Ensure completed work meets quality standards
Facilitate visitor and contractor safety, incl permits to work
Stop the Job and report any safety issues
Lead by example and support the wider management team to show, promote and acknowledge positive behaviours and develop a proactive safety culture
Monitoring team & site to ensure safe operations
Ensure team are trained and monitored to ensure correct standard of working
Keep the team engaged by feeding back on close calls and expect respect reports to develop a proactive safety culture
People management (Where required)
Undertake personal development to enhance knowledge and skill
What we're looking for;
Essential:
Valid HGV CLASS 2 is required
Supervisory experience within same/similar role
Relationship Management
Effective Communication skills
Time management
IT skills
Desirable:
IOSH Managing Safely
