Our client is looking for a motivated and hands-on Sheet Metal Operative to join their established team. This is a varied and practical role that will support the day-to-day operation of their manufacturing workshop, assisting across multiple production activities and helping colleagues deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the operation of workshop machinery, including:
Amada Quatro Laser
Trumpf Punch Press
Amada Press Brake
Linishing equipment and associated workshop machinery
Select and safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
Support the manufacture and assembly of stainless steel products.
Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications.
Utilise the company's MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) system to support production processes.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working within a manufacturing, production, assembly, or engineering environment.
Confidence using a wide range of hand and power tools.
Ideally operated a wide range of workshop machinery
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
