How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Working as part of the construction and logistics function, you will play an important role in developing and managing project programmes, working closely with senior planners, project managers and technical disciplines to ensure programmes accurately reflect the planned delivery of the works.
This role would suit an ambitious planner who is keen to develop their career, broaden their project experience and take on greater responsibility within a collaborative and technically experienced environment.
    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Creating and managing programmes using Primavera P6, incorporating changes, revisions and updated project information.
    * Producing clear, robust and logically sequenced programmes in line with project planning standards and client requirements.
    * Maintaining accurate programme records, including planning assumptions, construction methodologies and production rates.
    * Reviewing programme performance and incorporating progress updates and revised forecasts to ensure the programme remains an accurate representation of the works.
    * Working with project and construction teams to identify programme risks, constraints and potential delays at an early stage.
    * Providing regular updates on programme development and highlighting key planning issues, risks and areas requiring mitigation.
    * Incorporating approved changes into the programme in accordance with the project's change control process.
    * Coordinating programme information from a range of technical disciplines, including design, geotechnical, environmental, utilities and engineering teams.
    * Supporting responses to programme-related queries from clients, project teams and other technical stakeholders.
    * Helping to ensure that project programmes are fully integrated, logically linked and deliverable within the agreed project requirements.
    * Contributing to programme reports, planning documentation and other project or technical reports as required.
    * Working alongside Senior Construction Planners and wider project teams to continually improve programme quality and delivery.
    Essential Requirements
    * Approximately 3–5 years' experience working as a P6 Planner.
    * Experience within construction, civil engineering or the rail industry.
    * HNC, degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
    * Strong practical experience using Primavera P6.
    * Good understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and programme development.
    * Excellent organisational and time management skills.
    * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple project disciplines
