The successful candidate will have previous construction Document Control experience and be confident using Procore within a busy site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day Document Control process across the project.
* Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy project records.
* Manage the issue, receipt and distribution of drawings, documents and correspondence.
* Upload, review, distribute and track project information through Procore.
* Maintain document registers, trackers and revision records.
* Ensure the latest approved drawings and documentation are available to site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
* Manage superseded documentation and maintain a clear audit trail of revisions and distributions.
* Maintain project communication records, including RFIs, transmittals, site instructions and technical documentation.
* Generate reports and document exports for the wider project team.
* Support the digitisation, filing and archiving of site records.
* Assist with site administration, including inductions and new starter documentation.
* Support the collation and maintenance of HSE documentation and weekly returns.
* Maintain project files, control logs and trackers.
* Manage weekly timesheets with input from the site management team.
* Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure project information is issued accurately and on time.
* Ensure confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately and in line with GDPR requirements.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Document Controller within construction.
* Strong working knowledge of Procore.
* Experience working on major construction projects; data centre experience would be highly advantageous.
* Strong IT skills and confidence managing large volumes of project information.
* Experience working with a Common Data Environment (CDE).
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
* Experience with spreadsheets, databases and PDF editing software.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to document management.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines within a fast-paced site environment.
* Confident communicating with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and project management.
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing project requirements.
