We're looking for a proactive and organised Workplace Solutions Coordinator to support the smooth, safe and efficient running of corporate workplaces in Bracknell.
This is a varied facilities coordination role combining building management, workplace inspections, contractor liaison, helpdesk support and general colleague assistance. You'll take ownership of facilities issues from initial report through to resolution, helping to create a safe, compliant and positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Complete regular workplace and building inspections, identifying maintenance, safety and compliance issues
Take ownership of actions arising from inspections and service requests, arranging works and monitoring them through to completion
Respond to facilities queries through the workplace helpdesk, working within agreed service levels
Liaise with contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard
Support fire risk assessments, health and safety audits and other workplace compliance activities
Maintain appropriate workplace supplies and stock levels
Assist with building security, access arrangements and keyholder coordination
Support office moves, layout changes, refurbishments and asset replacement projects
Coordinate facilities contracts and contribute to regular supplier review meetings
Process purchase orders and invoices accurately and in line with financial procedures
Communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders, keeping them updated on progress
Identify opportunities to improve services, increase efficiency and reduce costs
Support incident response and business continuity activity when required What We're Looking For
Previous experience within facilities management, workplace services, building coordination or a similar operational role
A proactive, practical and solution-focused approach
Strong organisation and workload-management skills
Confidence managing several requests and priorities simultaneously
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
Comfortable liaising with contractors and monitoring work on site
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent internal customer service
A full UK driving licence or the ability to travel efficiently between workplaces when required First Aid, Fire Warden or IOSH Managing Safely training would be advantageous, although additional training may be available.
