How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager
    Location: Bristol Airport, Bristol & Port Talbot
    Salary: £350 per day
    Shifts: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 19:00 ________________________________________________________________________ About the Role
    We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor operating across Bristol and Port Talbot. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering complex projects within demanding operational environments.
    Working across major civil engineering projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of works from pre-construction through to completion, while ensuring safety, quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities
    Manage the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to successful handover.
    Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
    Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
    Monitor project performance, costs, risks and opportunities while maintaining project profitability.
    Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners, ensuring projects are delivered safely and to the highest standards._______________________________________________________________________
    About You
    Essential:

    Proven Project Management experience within Civil Engineering, Construction or Infrastructure projects.
    Valid CSCS Card.
    Experience managing project programmes, budgets, stakeholders and site operations.
    Willingness to travel regularly between Bristol and Port Talbot with a full UK driving licence.
    Desirable:

    Previous experience within airport, highways or major infrastructure environments.
    Site Manager experience within civil engineering projects.
    Strong commercial awareness including valuations, variations and cost control.
