About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pitched Roofing Contracts Manager to oversee volume-based repair and replacement projects across the Midlands. Working primarily with housing associations and local authorities, you will manage multiple direct teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee multiple pitched roofing repair and replacement contracts across the Midlands.
Manage, coordinate, and supervise direct workforces and subcontractors.
Ensure all projects comply with quality, safety, and operational standards.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, including housing associations.
Monitor progress, manage site schedules, and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Requirements
Trade Background: Strong, practical experience in all aspects of pitched roofing (slating and tiling) is essential.
Management Experience: Proven track record in managing multiple roofing teams and subcontractors on volume-based projects.
Driving License: Full UK driving license (required for company car/allowance option).
Strong communication, site management, and organizational skills.
Package & Benefits
Base Salary: £60,000 per annum.
Company Vehicle: Choice of a fully expensed company car or a £4,500/year car allowance.
Holiday Allowance: 33 days total per year (25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, with a short shutdown over Christmas).
Pension Scheme: Group Personal Pension Plan via Royal London with auto-enrolment eligibility.
Probationary Period: 3 months.
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Friday: 08:00 - 16:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch)
