The role
Prepare and review Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, and supporting technical notes.
Undertake and oversee transport modelling, forecasting, and data analysis using industry-standard tools.
Interpret national, regional, and local transport policy and apply it effectively to development proposals.
Lead stakeholder engagement, including liaison with local authorities, statutory bodies and design teams.
Mentor and technically review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and professional development support.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality assurance, and company procedures.
What you need to succeed
Minimum 4 years relevant Transport Planning experience & degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or Mathematics etc.
An understanding/experience of the UK planning process.
Further education or Master’s degree in a transport planning/engineering related discipline would be beneficial.
Computer literate with advanced use of Microsoft Office.
Good levels of numeracy, including a good understanding of spreadsheets.
Understanding of the use of AutoCAD.
Understanding of GIS software
