Teach Now is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA to join a primary school in Harrow this September.
The school is seeking someone who can bring confidence, consistency and energy to the classroom. You will support teaching across KS1 and KS2, lead focused interventions and provide classroom cover where needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for more responsibility without moving into a full teaching role.
Your responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
Lead English, maths and targeted intervention groups.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons when covering classes.
Support pupils with differing abilities and additional needs.
Reinforce expectations around behaviour and learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team.
About you
You will ideally have:
HLTA status, Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
Recent experience in a UK primary school.
Confidence working independently with groups or whole classes.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
A calm and adaptable approach.
Experienced HLTAs and Teaching Assistants already working at a higher level are encouraged to apply.
