How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a compassionate and committed individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs?

    A specialist educational setting in Milton Keynes is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a permanent, full-time basis.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils and wants to play an important role in helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally. You will be supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, both in the classroom and through dedicated 1:1 support.

    Location: Milton Keynes
    Pay: £475-£500 per week

It is crucial for an SEN Teaching Assistant to be building positive relationships , so you should be confident in creating a safe, structured, and encouraging environment where every pupil feels valued and supported.

    As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Milton Keynes, you will:

    Provide classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with ASD and other additional needs
    Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging activities and tailored interventions
    Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
    Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils
    Support children with their emotional wellbeing, social development, and academic progress
    Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour throughout the school day
    Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupilThe ideal SEN Teaching Assistant in Milton Keynes will have:

    Previous experience supporting children with SEN
