Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a CAT 3 Inspection Engineer to cover the Northeast
The role will focus on the Inspection of pressurised static equipment e.g. vessels, tanks, piping, relief devices, to meet regulatory and client requirements
Requirements
* Trained/qualified in a relevant engineering discipline., engineering Technician status desirable.
* 5 years of experience working within a relevant engineering discipline e.g. mechanical technician.
* Mechanical Engineering background.
* Experience in the Chemical and /or Oil & Gas sectors
* Understanding of engineering principals.
* EEMUA / API / NDT qualification/experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Eye for detail.
* Meeting tight deadlines
* Good interpersonal skills, and the capability to work independently.
* Appreciation of pressure equipment
* Experience / appreciation of non-destructive examination techniques (NDT)
Successful applicants must meet the UKAS definition for category 3 inspection engineers as seen below:
Category 3. Engineering Technician as defined by Engineering Council or equivalent (e.g. Appropriate ONC with relevant experience, NVQ Level III) having a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a relevant discipline of which at least one year shall have been spent working within an engineering discipline associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems.
