Internal Sales Account Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 + Bonus
Hours: 8am – 5pm, Mon – Fri
A well-established distributor of specialist building products is seeking a Technical Sales Advisor to join its successful Bristol branch.
This is a busy and varied office-based role within a supportive and experienced team. The Bristol branch is one of the highest-performing locations in the network, providing an excellent environment for learning and career development.
The business has a strong track record of developing Internal Sales Advisors, with many team members progressing their careers after joining with limited industry experience.
Working closely with colleagues in the branch and technical specialists across the organisation, your responsibilities will include:
* Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Providing customers with delivery updates and order information
* Handling returns and escalating product-related queries when required
* Re-engaging lapsed customers and identifying opportunities to win back business
* Managing relationships with existing accounts and encouraging increased customer spend
* Delivering excellent customer service while supporting sales growth
* Providing warehouse support during busy periods
Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
Who we’re looking for:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Experience in telephone-based sales, account management or business development
* Skilled at increasing revenue in existing accounts
* Inbound and outbound sales calls
* A positive, proactive attitude
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and CRM systems
* The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
