Shift: Permanent Nights – 4 on 4 off
Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive, collaborative engineering team within a busy FMCG food manufacturing site. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are central to daily operations.
You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, and supporting site performance through continuous improvement and root-cause fault finding.
Sector – Factory Maintenance (FMCG / Food Manufacturing)
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory environment
Stable work history (no job hoppers)
Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Electrical & mechanical fault-finding experience
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
Ability to work well within a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and good standards of documentation (PPM records / corrective actions)
Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
FMCG manufacturing experience (advantageous)
PLC fault finding (inputs/outputs)
