IT Business Analyst

Are you a driven experienced IT Business Analyst, who is seeking a new challenge? I have an exciting opportunity for a successful individual to join an ever growing company based in Midsomer Norton.

In this role, you will serve as a critical link between business needs and technological solutions. The ideal candidate is required to develop, improve efficiency, and help implement strategic measures for the future of the company. You must be able to gather important company data and compile into reports, sharing with shareholders and other departments. I require a person who can take charge of projects and deliver results within the best interest for the organisation moving forward.

This is a permanent contract, and the salary can be disclosed on application. Hybrid Remote working is available. There will be occasional travel to other sites.

The purpose and aim for this role involves:

* Plan and manage the business analysis activities ensuring correct measures business requirements are developed within time

* Translate business needs into clear documentation

* Primarily liaise between stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of priorities and constraints

* Identify substandard systems

* Develop forward thinking systems prototypes

* Perform, evaluate and communicate thorough quality assurance during system development

* Recommend and action business improvements

* Investigate problems and analyse options for new and existing services, providing recommendation solutions

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with other stakeholder teams throughout the business to develop necessary analysis and documentation

* Support project planning activities

* Communicate effectively and efficiently with production, managerial and executive teams

* Evaluate, analyse, maintain and communicate system requirements and processes

* Update internal and external documentation

* Manage communications with and external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle

* Develop relationships with partners for optimized systems integration

* Respond to questions, queries and concerns from managers and executives with supported research and recommendations

Requirements:

* Bachelors or Master’s Degree in IT or Computer Science or another relevant field

* 5+ years of proven experienced in analysis and systems development

* High ability with SQL language and database management

* Experience generating process documentation and reports

* Impeccable communicator with the ability to translate data into usable insights

* Concrete knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Visio

* Proven know-how in project and user testing management

* Extent experience with data visualization

* Technical writing capabilities

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask concurrent assignments
