Skilled Careers are currently looking for an experienced Gateman to join a busy construction site in Bexleyheath.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site entrance, controlling deliveries and ensuring vehicles and visitors enter and leave the site safely.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Gateman / Traffic Marshal on a construction site

Valid CSCS card and relevant traffic marshal/gateman ticket where required

Good understanding of site health & safety procedures

Confident communicating with drivers, visitors and site staff

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Able to work well as part of a team

Full PPE – hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots

Duties:

Managing the site entrance and gate

Directing vehicles safely in and out of site

Controlling deliveries and assisting delivery drivers

Checking visitors and deliveries entering the site

Maintaining a safe and organised entrance

Communicating with Site Management

Assisting with general site duties when required
