How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Process Coordinator (Operations and Maintenance Coordinator)  

    The Process Coordinator is responsible for coordinating operational and maintenance activities across the site, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of planned maintenance and improvement projects. A key focus of this role is the management and control of the site's Permit to Work (PTW) system, ensuring that all maintenance activities are appropriately planned, authorised, isolated, and executed in accordance with site standards and EHS requirements.

    Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams, the Process Coordinator plays a critical role in work control, process isolation management, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives that support safe and reliable plant operation.
    Key Responsibilities Safety, Health and Environmental (EHS)
    Identify, establish and monitor EHS objectives relevant to the role and support compliance with site EHS targets and standards.
    Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all maintenance and operational activities are conducted in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
    Participate in safety audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective action programmes as required. Permit to Work and Work Control
    Issue, control, monitor and maintain the site's Permit to Work (PTW) system.
    Ensure all permits are prepared, reviewed and authorised in accordance with site procedures.
    Verify that all required risk assessments, safety documentation and isolation requirements are in place before work commences.
    Act as a key focal point for work control activities, coordinating multiple maintenance tasks to ensure safe execution and minimise operational disruption.
    Provide guidance and support to personnel regarding permit requirements and safe systems of work. Maintenance Coordination
    Liaise with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
    Assist with auditing, monitoring and updating shutdown procedures, job safety analyses, maintenance procedures and start-up check sheets.
    Coordinate maintenance activities during planned shutdowns, turnarounds and outages.
    Support site project activities through effective coordination of resources, permits and operational requirements. Process Isolation Management
    Hold direct responsibility for defining process isolations required for planned maintenance activities.
    Ensure isolation plans are developed, documented and communicated effectively.
    Have indirect responsibility for Process Technicians and Coordination teams involved in the execution of approved isolations.
    Verify that isolations are correctly implemented, maintained and removed in line with site procedures. Continuous Improvement
    Participate in improvement projects aimed at enhancing safety, reliability, efficiency and operational performance.
    Identify opportunities to improve work control processes, maintenance effectiveness and plant utilisation.
    Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices across the site. Skills and Experience Essential
    Strong commitment to safety and understanding of safe systems of work.
    Experience working within a manufacturing, chemical processing, petrochemical or industrial environment.
    Knowledge and practical experience of Permit to Work systems and maintenance coordination.
    Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
    Ability to coordinate multiple activities and stakeholders simultaneously.
    Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound operational decisions. Desirable
    Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering, process, manufacturing or technical discipline.
    Previous experience as a Production Technician, Process Technician or similar operational role.
    Experience issuing and administering permits within a high-hazard or COMAH-regulated environment.
    Knowledge of process isolations, lock-out/tag-out systems and maintenance planning processes.
    Experience supporting shutdowns, outages or turnaround activities. Personal Attributes
