Entry Level Management - Leadership & Progression
BasePoint | Full-time | London (On-site)
Compensation: £25,000 – £45,000
Most entry-level jobs hand you a job description. This one hands you real responsibility — and shows you how to lead.
BasePoint runs face-to-face marketing and customer acquisition campaigns for major UK household brands - including EE, British Gas and Mercedes. We're expanding our London team and looking for driven individuals who want to build genuine leadership, coaching, and people-management skills from day one.
If you're the type who takes ownership without being asked, and you want a career where you're running things sooner rather than later, this is worth a conversation.
The Role
This is a field-based role built around direct customer engagement, with an early and deliberate focus on leadership development. Day to day, you'll be:
- Engaging customers in residential and event environments
- Representing established brands professionally and confidently
- Shadowing team leaders and picking up early coordination responsibilities
- Supporting daily performance tracking and team briefings
- Building the foundations for coaching and developing others
No two days look the same - the pace is fast and the feedback is immediate.
Training & Development
Every new team member goes through structured training covering:
- Customer engagement and professional communication
- Brand representation and campaign delivery
- Performance tracking and coaching techniques
- A structured leadership pathway — team coordination, crew management, and office operations
Training is ongoing - we invest in people who invest in themselves.
Progression
BasePoint promotes from within, and there's no seniority queue. Progression is based entirely on performance. As you develop, opportunities may include:
- Leading and coaching your own team members
- Coordinating campaign activity across a crew
- Moving into full team or office management
The people running our offices today started exactly where you'd be starting.
Who We're Looking For
You don't need a degree or a management background. You do need:
- A genuine drive to lead and develop other people
- A preference for hands-on, active work over desk-based roles
- A competitive edge and a willingness to be coached yourself first
- Full-time availability and the ability to work on-site in London
Experience in hospitality, retail, events, or team environments (even informal ones - sports, societies, part-time supervision) is a plus - but plenty of our best leaders came in with none of it.
A Few Practical Points
- Full-time, on-site role based in London
- Working hours vary depending on campaign schedules
- OTE reflects realistic on-target earnings for full-time performers
