This well-established FMCG food manufacturer continues to invest in its people, processes and facilities. You'll play a key role in driving health & safety standards across a busy manufacturing site, working closely with employees and management to create a positive and proactive safety culture.
You'll have a hands-on presence across the factory, identifying risks, improving processes and ensuring high standards of health & safety are maintained throughout the operation.
Your Role As Health & Safety Advisor Will Include:
Drive and promote a positive Health & Safety culture across the site
Carry out risk assessments, inspections and safety audits
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Review and develop safe systems of work and H&S procedures
Support machine safety, COSHH, manual handling and workplace transport
Deliver Health & Safety training and toolbox talks
Work closely with Production, Engineering and site management
Monitor H&S performance and drive continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company standardsAs A Health & Safety Advisor You Will Have:
Health & Safety experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food or a similar environment
NEBOSH qualified or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
Comfortable working hands-on within a busy manufacturing environment
Strong communication and influencing skills
