How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to join a busy and expanding manufacturing environment producing high-precision components for the aerospace and power generation sectors.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical assembly work and wants to develop skills across assembly, welding and heat treatment processes. Working as part of a specialist manufacturing team, you will play a key role in producing critical engineered components to the highest quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assemble precision-engineered components using manual and semi-automated processes.
    Carry out detailed assembly work, preparing components for the next stages of manufacture.
    Operate semi-automated welding equipment following established procedures and quality standards.
    Support heat treatment operations, including loading and operating industrial ovens and associated control systems.
    Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
    Carry out routine equipment checks and report any issues.
    Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and safety.
    Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.What We're Looking For

    Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or production environments.
    Experience with welding, heat treatment, or engineering processes would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.
    Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
    Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures.
    Experience working with machinery or production equipment.
    Positive, reliable and proactive attitude.
    Strong team-working skills and willingness to learn.
