How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    THE ROLE

As our Senior Marketing Designer, you will create high-quality static and motion content that drives real business impact across performance marketing, brand, web and everything in between.

You will bring strong creative craft, excellent visual judgement and an AI-native way of working; knowing when and how to use AI to increase output, test ideas faster and expand what a small creative team can achieve.

At wamo, AI is a multiplier, not the point. Great ideas and exceptional craft are what set the work apart. You will balance pixel-perfect attention to detail with the speed at which wamo moves, ensuring every asset remains true to our human-centred and trusted fintech brand.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Creative Production (Static + Motion)

    • Ship across channels: concept, design and produce performance and brand creative for paid media (Meta, Google and others), organic social, email and lifecycle, and in-app.
    • Work across static and motion: from statics and carousels to short-form video, animated ads and motion graphics. This is a hybrid role, not pure graphic design.
    • Own wamo’s web creative: design and iterate on landing pages, campaign pages and web assets that convert, partnering with the web team to keep the site sharp, fast and on-brand.
    • Design for testing: produce multiple concepts and variations built to be tested in market, not a single hero asset.

    AI-Native Production

    • Extend output with AI: use generative image, video and copy tools inside a real production workflow to go well beyond what’s manually possible.
    • Automate the busywork: build ways to automate resizing, versioning, localisation and variant generation so the team spends its time on ideas.
    • Build the systems: create and maintain prompt libraries, templates and AI-assisted workflows that scale brand-consistent output.
    • Set the guardrails: keep AI-assisted work on-brand and at wamo’s quality bar, and bring the best new tools to the team.

    Performance & Impact

    • Treat data as a creative input: partner with media buyers and analysts to understand what’s driving results and why.
    • Iterate for impact: refine hooks, formats and concepts on live creative to improve business outcomes, not just engagement.
    • Watch the competition: keep close tabs on the competitive landscape and what other brands, in and out of fintech, are doing creatively, and pull the sharpest signals into wamo’s work.
    • Stay ahead of the curve: track platform conventions and creative trends, and bring fresh, testable directions to the roadmap.

    Collaboration & Brand Stewardship

    • Support the whole growth org: work with media buyers, brand, content, social and web teams, plus external agencies and freelancers.
    • Push the brand forward: take wamo’s visual identity into new formats without losing what makes it distinctive.
    • Keep the studio fast: maintain source files, asset libraries and design-system components so the team moves quickly without losing consistency.

    PROFILE & COMPETENCES

    • Experience: 5+ years in marketing or performance design, with a portfolio that shows both craft and taste.
    • Hybrid skillset: strong static fundamentals (layout, typography, colour, hierarchy) and real motion and animation capability.
    • Tooling: fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects; Premiere Pro a plus).
    • AI-native: hands-on with generative image and video tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway and Google Veo) as part of how you already work, and genuinely excited about where creative and AI are heading.
    • Business instinct: understands what makes creative drive real business impact across channels, and what makes iteration and testing meaningful.
    • Balance: knows when to be pixel-perfect and when to ship fast, and is comfortable taking calculated creative risks.
    • Mindset: treats design as a craft and a career; self-directed, and thrives on feedback, speed and ownership.
    • Bonus: fintech or high-growth B2C/B2B, agency background, illustration or 3D range, and basic HTML/CSS or web-animation know-how.
