How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mental Health Assistant - Specialist School - Bracknell
    Pay: £90.00 - £105.00 per day

    Are you an empathetic and resilient Mental Health Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity supporting young people in Bracknell?

    Do you have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals and want to develop your career within education and mental health?

    A supportive specialist school in Bracknell is seeking a Mental Health Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The role will involve providing individualised support to pupils who may experience SEMH needs, anxiety, emotional difficulties, ASD, ADHD and other barriers to learning.

    As a Mental Health Assistant, you will play an important role in helping pupils feel safe, understood and able to engage with school. You will develop positive relationships with students and provide consistent encouragement throughout the school day.

    The Mental Health Assistant role will involve:

    * Providing 1:1 and small group emotional and pastoral support
    * Helping pupils develop confidence and emotional regulation strategies
    * Supporting students who may experience anxiety or emotional distress
    * Encouraging positive engagement with learning and school life
    * Building trusting and professional relationships with pupils
    * Working closely with Teachers, pastoral staff and the wider SEN team
    * Promoting a calm, safe and inclusive environment
    * ASAP start in Bracknell with good transport links

    The school is looking for a Mental Health Assistant who is compassionate, patient and able to build strong relationships with young people. Experience in education, mental health, care, psychology, youth work or SEN would be advantageous.
