As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a technically minded Solutions Delivery Lead to bridge the gap between Sales and Operations, ensuring projects are planned, coordinated and delivered to the highest standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a background in IT infrastructure, networking, CCTV, AV or technical project delivery who wants to play a key role in the successful delivery of varied and exciting projects.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Service & Operations Director, you will take ownership of projects from the point of sales handover through to successful delivery.
You will work closely with our Sales Team, customers, suppliers, engineers and operational teams to ensure every project is correctly surveyed, documented, planned and coordinated before implementation begins.
This is not a desk-based administration role. We are looking for someone who enjoys visiting customer sites, understanding technical requirements, identifying risks and creating clear delivery plans that set projects up for success.
You will become the central point of coordination between Commercial and Operations, ensuring projects are fully prepared before engineers arrive onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Take ownership of projects following commercial sign-off and handover.
Assist Project Manager with conducting customer site surveys and requirements gathering.
Produce detailed Scope of Works and Orders of Works documentation.
Develop project plans, schedules and delivery programmes.
Work with project manager to identify risks, dependencies and installation challenges.
Ensure projects are fully prepared before deployment begins.
Customer Engagement
Attend customer meetings and site visits.
Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Manage customer expectations throughout project delivery.
Act as a key point of contact during the planning and implementation phases.
Technical Validation
Review and validate technical requirements.
Ensure networking, power, connectivity and infrastructure requirements are understood.
Coordinate with specialist teams and suppliers.
Support solution design validation where required.
Delivery Management
Monitor project progress against agreed milestones.
Escalate issues and risks proactively.
Ensure a smooth transition into support and service delivery teams following completion.
Continuous Improvement
Improve project handover processes between Sales and Operations.
Help develop consistent delivery standards across the business.
Support the continued growth of our project delivery capability.

About You
You will likely come from a technical infrastructure, systems integration, networking or project delivery background and have experience coordinating or planning technology installations.

Excellent organisational and planning abilities.

Strong attention to detail.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Location & Travel
This role is based from our Bolton Head Office and will primarily support projects across the North West.
However, DMS operates nationally and applicants must be willing to travel throughout the UK when required. Occasional overnight stays will form part of the role depending on project location and customer requirements.
