About The Role:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their day-to-day care and wellbeing.
* Providing person-centred care and support to residents
* Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
* Supporting residents with mobility and transfers
* Assisting with meals and hydration
* Promoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care records
* Observing and reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff
* Working effectively as part of the wider care team
* Following all relevant care plans, policies and procedures
About You:
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who are reliable, caring and professional, with a genuine commitment to supporting others.
You should have:
* Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Support Worker or within a care home
* Relevant mandatory care training
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A compassionate and respectful approach
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A professional approach to resident care and confidentiality
* A valid DBS on the Update Service is preferred
