Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A well-established construction consultancy is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team, working across a strong portfolio of residential developments. The successful Project Manager will be involved in projects from early feasibility and pre-construction through to delivery and completion, gaining exposure to a varied mix of residential schemes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with consultancy experience who is looking to take greater ownership of projects, develop client relationships and continue progressing towards Senior Project Manager level.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will manage residential projects through the full project lifecycle, coordinating consultants, contractors and key stakeholders while ensuring programmes, budgets and quality standards are maintained.

The role will include preparing project programmes, leading meetings, monitoring progress, managing risk and supporting procurement and contract administration. The Project Manager will also act as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear updates and ensuring projects are delivered in line with their objectives.

With a strong residential workload, the successful individual will gain significant exposure to new-build and refurbishment schemes across the sector.

The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will ideally have:

3+ years' project management experience within a construction consultancy
Strong experience working on residential construction projects
Experience supporting or managing projects from pre-construction through to completion
Good knowledge of JCT contracts and construction processes
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Ideally working towards, or holding, MRICS, MAPM or another relevant professional qualification
Strong communication, organisation and client-facing skills
