As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll learn how to source, engage, and place high-quality candidates while building valuable relationships with clients across your designated geographical area. You'll gain hands-on experience in recruitment, business development, candidate management, and market mapping, all whilst working alongside a highly successful team.

What You'll Be Doing

Candidate Resourcing & Recruitment

Source and identify high-quality candidates through job boards, social media, advertising, referrals, and networking.
Conduct initial candidate screening interviews via telephone and Microsoft Teams.
Assess candidate suitability, experience, qualifications, and cultural fit.
Maintain and update candidate records within our CRM system.
Prepare CVs and candidate profiles for client submissions.

Job Management

Support experienced consultants with live vacancies and recruitment campaigns.
Create engaging job adverts and promote opportunities across multiple platforms.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
Ensure candidates receive a professional and positive recruitment experience.

Business Development & Relationship Building

Build strong relationships with candidates and clients within your geographical patch.
Support the team in delivering exceptional service to existing clients.
Develop market knowledge and map local competitors, clients, and candidate networks.
Identify and record new business opportunities within the CRM.

Learning & Development

Participate in our structured training and development programme.
Learn recruitment best practice, industry knowledge, and sector-specific expertise.
Work closely with experienced consultants and managers who will mentor and support your growth.
Continuously develop your skills and work towards promotion opportunities.
