We are working with an award-winning, employee-owned architectural and heritage consultancy, to recruit a Bid Coordinator for their Manchester hub.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong bid coordination experience, excellent InDesign skills and an interest in architecture and the built environment to join a highly regarded international practice.
The Role | Bid Coordinator
As Bid Coordinator, you will be responsible for the project management and delivery of high-quality bid submissions, working across multiple deadlines and with a variety of internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the end-to-end bid process and ensuring procedures are followed correctly
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to produce proposals and presentation materials
Using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, to create high-quality bid submissions
Reviewing and proofreading bid content to ensure consistency, accuracy and quality
Designing layouts for bids and tenders, including coordinating relevant imagery and graphics
Maintaining bid libraries, staff CVs, project case studies and photography
Reviewing both successful and unsuccessful bids to identify lessons learnt
Taking ownership of improvements and efficiencies within the bidding process
Working closely with business development and marketing teamsAbout You
To be considered for the role, you will ideally have:
Excellent Adobe InDesign skills
Strong time management and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading ability
Confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
Experience working on high-value bidsPrevious bid coordination or bid management experience would be highly advantageous.
Experience within architecture, construction or the wider built environment would also be beneficial, alongside graphic design skills or experience using procurement portals.
