How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About Aries:

At Aries Global, we're driven by a singular ambition - to build one of the world's truly exceptional software groups. A high-performing culture where we're able to deliver transformative value to our group, and a place where every team member can demonstrate autonomous impact in a highly collaborative environment.

Our mission is simple: we don't just acquire companies - we build enduring, AI-native software platforms. We partner with founders who have built great products and help them unlock their next chapter through our AI-native operating system, centralised GTM engine, and world-class execution capabilities.

We bring together exceptional operators, product builders, and leaders - people who insist on the highest standards and excel in a culture of fast pace, focused execution, and deep ownership. In return, you'll experience extraordinary growth, meaningful impact from day one, and a career trajectory far steeper than you thought possible.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 6 months long internship period.

    The Role

    • Support the build-out and maintenance of core data infrastructure, working directly with our data and analytics stack to keep information clean, structured, and accessible.
    • Partner with data, product, and investment teams to translate business questions into data-driven answers, working fast in an environment where priorities shift quickly.
    • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data from relational databases in support of business and investment decisions.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining data models that structure raw data into usable, reliable formats for reporting and analysis.
    • Work with APIs to ingest data from external sources, and help automate and streamline recurring data pulls.
    • Contribute to projects within our cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or similar), helping organise and scale our data environment as it grows.
    • Use Git for version control, following best practices for collaborative development and code management.
    • Work directly with founders and leaders across Aries' group companies to understand their data needs and support them with reliable analysis.
    • Bring an analytical, curious mindset to every task, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    What We're Looking For

    Background & Education:

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong interest and hands-on experience in data. Candidates from prestigious universities and/or with prior experience at a startup (software preferred) are especially encouraged to apply.

    Technical Foundation:

Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of relational databases. Familiarity with Python or another coding language. Exposure to Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse is a plus. Some experience working with APIs (REST/data ingestion) and version control with Git.

    Ownership & Curiosity:

An interest in data modeling and structuring information to solve real problems. You're comfortable picking things up quickly, asking good questions, and taking ownership of your work rather than waiting to be told what to do next.

    Action Bias:

You thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift, and you bring sharp analytical thinking to ambiguous or undercovered problems. You're energized by being hands-on rather than purely observational.

    Communication & Collaboration:

Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You can explain your work clearly, work well across teams, and are comfortable contributing in a highly collaborative environment.

    Culture:

High standards. Low ego. Direct feedback. Fast execution. Real accountability.

We value people who care deeply about the craft and the outcome.

    Why Join Aries:

    • Work alongside unusually driven operators and builders
    • Lead live deals as part of a senior team of experienced investors and operators
    • Define and own the playbook for how we source, evaluate, and close software acquisitions
    • Direct exposure to Aries leadership and investment committee-level decision-making
    • Real ownership from day one and a growth curve far steeper than you thought possible

We set a high bar. We hire carefully. We invest heavily in those who clear it.
