How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

EA to MDs, Investment Banking – hybrid (4/1) 22952

    £60,000 - £65,000 + bonus + benefits

Are you a brilliant EA with solid Investment Banking experience supporting at MD level?

Do you thrive in a fast-moving front-office environment, where priorities change quickly and you need to stay one step ahead?

Our client is a leading global Investment Bank and one of its busiest and highest revenue-generating teams is looking for an exceptional EA to support a small group of senior bankers. This is a high-profile role where you’ll act as a trusted right hand – managing complex priorities, anticipating what needs to happen next and keeping everything running seamlessly. You’ll need to think quickly, use your judgement and remain calm when several urgent demands land at once.

You’ll be joining a bright, dynamic and supportive team where the EA is genuinely valued and very much part of the business. If you enjoy being at the heart of a busy team, building trusted relationships and making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!

    What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

    • Proactively managing complex, high-volume diaries
    • Scheduling and re-prioritising meetings and calls across international time zones
    • Arranging extensive UK and international travel, including detailed itineraries, accommodation, ground transport and visas
    • Acting as a first point of contact for senior leaders, clients and colleagues
    • Building strong relationships across the business and dealing confidently with fast-moving requests
    • Managing expenses, invoices and reimbursements
    • Supporting team administration, meetings, interviews and new-starter onboarding
    • Maintaining client contacts and CRM records
    • Liaising with Finance, HR, Compliance, IT, Legal and Business Management
    • Providing cover and working collaboratively with the wider EA team
    • Handling highly confidential client, deal and firm information with absolute discretion

The skills you need to bring:

    • Recent EA/PA experience supporting MD-level senior bankers within front-office Investment Banking is essential
    • Experience working within a demanding, fast-paced deal environment
    • Exceptional diary management, organisation and prioritisation skills
    • Ability to juggle multiple senior stakeholders and rapidly changing priorities
    • A proactive, resourceful approach – you anticipate rather than wait to be asked
    • Excellent judgement and the confidence to work independently
    • Calm and composed under pressure
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Impeccable attention to detail and discretion
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
    • Flexibility when deal activity occasionally requires support outside standard hours
