How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Contract Programme Lead – Salsify PIM & Digital Commerce Transformation | Manchester, Hybrid | 6-month contract | Outside IR35 | Day rate TBC

We’re partnered with a leading global consumer brands business undergoing a major digital commerce transformation. They are looking for an experienced Contract Programme Lead to take ownership of two connected transformation initiatives across Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Shelf Analytics.

This is a senior delivery role sitting between Technology, Marketing, eCommerce, Sales, Product and external technology partners, with responsibility for turning strategy into delivery and embedding new ways of working across the business.

    The Role

    Programme 1 – PIM Implementation

Lead the implementation of Salsify PIM, taking ownership of the programme from planning through to deployment and business adoption. You will:

    • Own the programme plan, roadmap, governance, risks and dependencies
    • Coordinate stakeholders across Marketing, eCommerce, Sales, Product and IT
    • Manage relationships with Salsify and the implementation partner
    • Drive product data, taxonomy, attribute mapping and data quality activity
    • Support the development of future-state processes and operating models
    • Ensure product information is effectively managed and distributed across digital commerce channels
    • Lead business readiness, training, adoption and change activity
    • Provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders and programme sponsors

Programme 2 – Digital Shelf Analytics

Lead the assessment and recommendation of a future Digital Shelf Analytics capability. This will include:

    • Defining business requirements and use cases
    • Leading stakeholder workshops across commercial, marketing and technology teams
    • Evaluating potential platforms and technology approaches, including CommerceIQ, Profitero, Pacvue, Acorn-i and similar solutions
    • Assessing capabilities across digital shelf performance, search visibility, content health, availability, pricing, promotions, competitor intelligence and retail media
    • Developing vendor scorecards and business case / ROI recommendations
    • Supporting commercial and vendor evaluation
    • Defining the future operating model and deployment roadmap

A key part of the role will be connecting PIM and Digital Shelf Analytics into a wider digital commerce ecosystem. You will help establish:

    • Product data and content flows from source systems through PIM and into commerce channels
    • KPIs linking product data quality and content completeness with digital shelf performance
    • A connected transformation roadmap
    • Long-term governance and ownership models
    • Data-driven processes for continually improving product content and online performance

We're looking for someone who combines strong programme leadership with genuine digital commerce / product data experience. Ideally, you will have:

    • Experience leading complex Digital Commerce transformation programmes
    • Previous experience delivering PIM implementations, ideally Salsify
    • Strong understanding of product information, product data, taxonomy, attributes and content syndication
    • Experience working with SaaS technology vendors and system integrators
    • Exposure to Digital Shelf Analytics platforms such as Profitero, CommerceIQ, Pacvue, or similar
    • Experience within FMCG, CPG, Consumer Goods, Retail or eCommerce
    • Strong business transformation, change and stakeholder management skills
    • The ability to work across Technology, Marketing, Commercial, Sales and eCommerce functions
    • Excellent senior stakeholder and executive communication skills
    • Strong programme governance, roadmap and delivery experience

This is an opportunity to lead a high-profile digital commerce transformation across a global consumer brands organisation, with responsibility for both technology deployment and commercial transformation. If you have experience across PIM, product data, digital commerce or digital shelf transformation and are interested in leading a programme of this scale, we'd like to hear from you.
