How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About The Role:

    The Crowd are partnered with a leading, mid-sized international design practice that specialises in creating people-centred environments through wayfinding, product design and urban design projects. They are looking for a proactive and friendly Studio Administrator to join their creative and collaborative London studio.


    This role combines studio administration, people support and IT support, ensuring teams have the resources, systems and support they need to work effectively. The successful candidate will coordinate meetings and travel, support employee onboarding and recruitment administration, assist with finance and IT processes, maintain compliance records, and help manage key business systems like CMAP and Microsoft 365.


    The ideal will candidate will be a creative minded, sociable and hardworking individual who is ready to take a step into a studio environment that offers growth and career development. This role offer exposure to duties across the business and as it grows, they expect you to become a critical part of how it’s ran on a day-to-day basis.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day administration and coordination of the London studio whilst supporting another office
    • Manage calendars and travel bookings for the studio
    • Ensure the studio remains welcoming, organised and presentable
    • Support with onboarding and offboarding process for employees
    • Troubleshoot any IT queries and manage equipment
    • Support with general finance administration (expenses and invoices)
    • Ensure health and safety records documentation are maintained
    • Plan studio events and company activities
    • Support the managing director with occasional PA duties


    Key Skills / Requirements:

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in the creative industries, ideally in architecture, wayfinding or engineering
    • Friendly, sociable and confident, and able to communicate well at all levels
    • Experience using MAC OS and Microsoft 365
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Able to multitask and prioritise workload
