How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The property offers extensive hotel services, 114 contemporary bedrooms in six accommodation styles, and a multifunctional conference center with 35 meeting and seminar rooms. Guests and clients benefit from built-in audio-visual equipment, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and extensive free on-site parking. The estate promotes environmental awareness through sustainable meeting options designed to reduce environmental impact. Located on the A6120 northern ring road, Weetwood Hall is just 4 miles from Leeds city center and easily accessible from major road networks.
    Role Description The Wedding and Events Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Weetwood Hall in Leeds. This role is responsible for coordinating weddings, social functions, and corporate events from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests. Daily tasks include managing event bookings, conducting show-rounds, preparing function sheets, liaising with couples and clients, and working closely with operations, catering, and front office teams to deliver events according to agreed specifications. The coordinator will handle event timelines, room layouts, and vendor communications, while monitoring budgets, upselling venue services, and supporting sales targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in event management systems, responding promptly to inquiries, and representing the venue with professional, guest-focused service at all times.
    Qualifications
    • Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills, including experience coordinating weddings or similar large functions.
    • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and external suppliers.
    • Candidates should possess outstanding Customer Service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, guest-centered experiences.
    • Candidates should possess Sales skills, including the ability to upsell services, convert inquiries into confirmed bookings, and support revenue targets.
    • Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, or events venues is highly beneficial.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple events simultaneously.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
    • Proficiency with basic office software and event management or CRM systems; knowledge of audio-visual requirements is an advantage.
    • A relevant qualification in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
