Procurement Specialist – Technology & Professional Services
Milton Keynes – Hybrid Working (1 day per week)
Up to £40,000 + Benefits
My client is looking for an ambitious Procurement Specialist to join their growing procurement function as they embark on an exciting period of transformation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an up-and-coming procurement professional who has built a good foundation in procurement and is now looking to take the next step in their career.
You will gain exposure across a broad range of indirect categories, with a particular focus on Technology and Professional Services, working alongside experienced procurement professionals and engaging with stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end procurement and sourcing activity
- Gain exposure across Technology, IT and Professional Services
- Support RFIs, RFPs and competitive tender processes
- Assist with supplier negotiations and contract management
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Support supplier management and due diligence activity
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies and added value
- Contribute to the continued development of procurement processes and ways of working
What my client is looking for:
- Previous experience within procurement, purchasing or strategic sourcing
- Exposure to indirect procurement, ideally including Technology or Professional Services
- A good understanding of the end-to-end procurement process
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Good stakeholder and supplier management skills
- A proactive approach with a genuine ambition to develop and progress within procurement
You do not need to be the finished article. My client is looking for someone with the right procurement foundations, commercial mindset and ambition who can develop and grow within the organisation.
