How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Complaints Handler (insurance)

    Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 DOE

    Due to our continued success in the UK market we are expanding our team. As one of the leading businesses in our field we always strive to exceed customers expectations, so if you are detail orientated, driven and eager to be part of a global firm then read below.


    We are seeking a self-driven and confident Complaints Handler, who is solution focused and driven to resolve any queries. The role is home based with occasional office visits (1 a quarter), so the ability to be self-motivated is an absolute must. The main duties and responsibilities will be to:

    • Managing reportable complaints across all your divisions, ensuring every case meets client and company standards
    • Investigating complaint circumstances, collaborating with business units, and determining outcome
    • Delivering clear, fair conclusions to customers, clients, senior leaders
    • Presenting information effectively, ensuring every customer feels heard and respected
    • Championing Fair Treatment of Customers, working within FCA guidelines
    • Supporting colleagues across the Group to ensure complaints are acknowledged correctly
    • Meeting and maintaining KPI targets
    • Tracking root causes, spotting trends, and identifying opportunities for improvement
    • Handling sensitive information with absolute confidentiality


    What we are looking for:

    • Previous complaints handling experience, ideally within insurance
    • Great communication and organisation skills
    • Ability to demonstrate a high standard of customer service
    • Computer literate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Positive attitude and be a flexible, self-motivated team player
    • Attention to detail and ability to assess and resolve problems and find solutions

    But above all else, we are seeking someone with a hunger, desire and attitude to really push their career within the insurance sector. This role would suit someone who is looking to be empowered to make decisions.
