An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chemistry Patent Attorney (1–3 PQE) to join a highly regarded and growing IP practice.
The firm has an excellent reputation within the patent market and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on a broad range of high-quality chemistry matters.
The Role
You will work across a varied portfolio of patent work, advising innovative clients on matters including:
- Patent drafting and prosecution
- European and international patent applications
- IP strategy and portfolio management
- Working closely with clients and technical teams
- Supporting senior attorneys on complex matters
Experience within small molecules would be highly desirable, although candidates with a strong broader chemistry background are encouraged to apply.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- 1–3 years' PQE as a Patent Attorney
- A strong academic background in Chemistry or a related discipline
- Experience in patent drafting and prosecution
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- A commercially minded approach and genuine interest in IP
- Small molecule experience would be advantageous
