How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Ecommerce & Digital Product Manager- URGENT

    Margate, Kent / Hybrid | £50,000–£65,000 + Bonus | Permanent

Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client in the appointment of an Ecommerce & Digital Product Manager.

This is a rare opportunity to join an iconic, much-loved British consumer brand with an incredibly loyal customer base and a major opportunity for digital growth.

The brand has heritage, recognition and passionate customers in abundance. Now, it is investing in its digital future — and this role will play a central part in that transformation.

We are looking for an ambitious Ecommerce & Digital Product Manager who can take ownership of the ecommerce experience and help turn an already exceptional brand into an even stronger digital and direct-to-consumer business.

This is far more than a website management role.

You will own the commercial performance, customer experience and digital product roadmap, identifying where customers struggle, spotting opportunities, deciding what should be built or improved next and driving those changes through to measurable commercial results.

A major early project will be the development and launch of a next-generation ecommerce website. Working alongside an appointed external development agency and technology partners, you will act as the business Product Owner, taking the project from planning and requirements through development, testing, migration and launch.

Following launch, you'll lead a programme of continuous optimisation — using customer insight, analytics and commercial performance data to continually improve the digital experience and drive growth.

    Why this opportunity?

This is an opportunity to make a visible and lasting impact on a globally recognised British brand.

You'll have genuine ownership and the opportunity to shape:

    *

    The future ecommerce proposition

    *

    The digital product roadmap

    *

    A major ecommerce website transformation

    *

    Customer experience and product discovery

    *

    Ecommerce trading and merchandising

    *

    Conversion, AOV and revenue growth

    *

Customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value

    *

    The ongoing digital optimisation strategy

You'll work closely with marketing, CRM, customer service, IT, operations and commercial teams, as well as external technology and development partners.

There are no direct reports initially, so this is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting close to the customer, the data, the technology and the commercial opportunity.

    The Role

As Ecommerce & Digital Product Manager, you will:

    *

Take overall ownership of the ecommerce website and its commercial performance

    *

Act as the business Product Owner for the next-generation ecommerce website

    *

Own the digital product roadmap and prioritisation

    *

Translate customer, commercial and business requirements into clear product priorities

    *

Lead website development, testing, migration and launch activity

    *

Manage relationships with external development and technology partners

    *

Identify opportunities to improve usability, customer experience, product discovery and conversion

    *

Own ecommerce KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, revenue per visitor, acquisition, retention and customer lifetime value

    *

Lead ecommerce trading and merchandising activity

    *

Manage the ecommerce trading calendar across product launches, campaigns and promotions

    *

Improve online merchandising, navigation, product presentation and cross-selling

    *

Use analytics, customer behaviour and feedback to identify growth opportunities

    *

Develop and implement CRO and continuous optimisation initiatives

    *

Establish a disciplined weekly and monthly ecommerce trading and performance rhythm

    *

Work closely with Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, CRM, Customer Services, IT, Operations and Commercial teams

    *

Champion the customer across the entire digital journey

    About You

We're looking for an experienced ecommerce and/or digital product professional who combines commercial thinking with strong digital product capability.

You'll ideally have experience in a role such as:

    Ecommerce Manager

    Ecommerce Product Manager

    Digital Product Manager

    Digital Product Owner

    Ecommerce Trading Manager

    Digital Trading Manager

    Digital Commerce Manager

    Head of Ecommerce

We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience of:

Owning an ecommerce website or digital product

Developing and managing a digital product roadmap

Leading a website rebuild, replatforming or major digital transformation

Working with external web development agencies

    Ecommerce trading and merchandising

Conversion rate optimisation and digital performance

Using analytics and customer insight to make commercial decisions

Improving customer journeys and digital experiences

Managing ecommerce KPIs and delivering measurable commercial growth

Experience within consumer, retail, DTC, leisure, lifestyle, specialist retail or other customer-focused ecommerce environments could be highly relevant.

What matters most is that you're commercially minded, customer obsessed, comfortable owning a digital product and excited by the opportunity to make a significant difference.

    The Opportunity

You'll be joining a business with an exceptionally strong brand, passionate customers and significant untapped digital potential.

The ambition is to make the ecommerce experience dramatically better — making it easier for customers to discover the brand, understand the products, enter the hobby or category, make confident purchasing decisions and ultimately develop a long-term relationship with the business.

You'll have the opportunity to help shape that journey from the ground up.

If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely own the digital agenda, influence senior stakeholders and see a direct connection between your work and commercial performance, this could be an exceptional next step.
