How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Senior Retail Account Manager EMEA | London | Consumer Electronics

    About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Senior Retail Account Manager EMEA to own and grow their relationships with major European retailers.(e.g Coolblue, FNAC, Argos).

This is a senior, client-facing commercial role: you'll be the primary point of contact for these accounts, responsible for driving revenue, securing prime placement, and building the joint business plans that turn our clients product into a priority category across this retail portfolio.
As Senior Retail Account Manager EMEA, you'll work across multiple markets and languages, balancing the needs of large multinational retail groups with local market execution, and act as the connective tissue between your commercial, marketing, and supply teams and your retail partners.

    What You'll Do:

    New Business Development:

Scope and evaluate potential new retail partners across EMEA, assessing fit, reach, and commercial potential, and lead onboarding through to first live listing.
    Account Ownership:

Own the commercial relationship with major European CE retailers (e.g.Coolblue, Argos, FNAC, Media Expert, EE ), acting as the primary point of contact from buyer through to senior category/commercial leadership.

    Joint Business Planning:

Build and execute joint business plans with each account, covering revenue targets, in-store placement, promotional calendar, and marketing support.

    Revenue & Forecasting:

Own sales forecasting and performance tracking for assigned accounts, identifying risks and opportunities and adjusting plans accordingly.

    Negotiation:

Lead commercial negotiations on trading terms, margin, listing fees, and promotional investment, balancing margin goals with the retailers expectations.

    Category & Merchandising Strategy:

Work with retail partners to secure optimal shelf placement, POS/display support, and staff training to maximize conversion in-store.

    Distributor Relationships:

Build and maintain strong working relationships with distributor partners supporting retail execution, ensuring alignment on account plans, stock flow, and in-market activation.

    Cross-Functional Coordination:

Partner with marketing, supply chain, and revenue operations to ensure launches, promotions, and stock are aligned with retailer plans across markets.

    Market & Competitive Insight:

Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and promotional cadence at each retailer, feeding insight back into the business's broader EMEA retail strategy.

    Senior Stakeholder Management:

Represent the business at senior/director-level meetings with retail partners, including trading reviews, category reviews, and QBRs.
Multi-Market Coordination: Manage the added complexity of multinational accounts with operations spanning the UK, DACH, France, and the Nordics, aligning global account strategy with local market nuances.
    What We're Looking For:

7+ years in key account management or national account management within consumer electronics, technology, or premium consumer goods.
Direct experience managing relationships with major European CE retailers such as Currys, MediaMarkt, Elkjøp, FNAC, or comparable multinational retail groups.
Strong track record of negotiating trading terms and building joint business plans that deliver measurable revenue growth.
Comfortable operating across multiple markets and time zones, coordinating both centralized retailer HQ relationships and local market execution.
Confident engaging at senior/director level, both with retail partners and internal leadership.
Strong commercial and analytical skills - forecasting, margin analysis, and performance reporting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to align cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) around account plans.
Additional European language (German or a Nordic language) is a strong plus.
Willingness to travel regularly across the UK, DACH, France, and Nordics.BBBH37126
