Join Our SMART Repair Team in Swansea
Renault Retail Group is looking for an experienced SMART Repair Technician to join our team at Renault Swansea, based on Swansea Enterprise Park in Llansamlet (SA7).
Working within our established workshop operation, you'll help ensure customer vehicles are repaired to a high cosmetic standard, delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer outcomes.
Our Swansea site already operates a dedicated SMART repair facility, providing the successful candidate with a well-equipped working environment and the opportunity to further develop their skills within a manufacturer-owned business.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established operation with modern facilities, ongoing manufacturer training, and the support of a wider Aftersales team.

What You'll Do
Carry out SMART cosmetic repairs to manufacturer standards
Repair scratches, scuffs, paint damage, and minor panel defects
Undertake paintless dent repairs where appropriate
Prepare, repair, and refinish damaged panels
Identify additional vehicle defects that may require further repair or attention
Support alloy wheel refurbishment work where required
Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed repair times
Maintain a safe, organised, and professional working environment
Follow workshop processes and manufacturer procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician, Cosmetic Repair Technician, Paint Technician, Vehicle Prep Technician, or similar role
Strong repair and paint preparation skills
Experience carrying out cosmetic vehicle repairs to a high standard
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to manage workload efficiently while maintaining quality standards
A professional and customer-focused approach
The following would be advantageous, but not essential:
Paintless dent repair experience
Alloy wheel repair experience
ATA accreditation or equivalent bodyshop qualification
Training can be provided for successful candidates looking to develop additional SMART repair skills.
Licence Requirement: A full UK manual driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles) is essential for this role.
Hours & Pay
£33,359 pa basic salary
OTE £45,035 pa, achievable, regularly reached and uncapped
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
30-minute lunch break
40 hours per week
