Position: Year 2 Class Teacher
Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a strong and reliable Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Rossendale area from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a consistent three-day-a-week position, with the potential to continue for the full academic year.
The Role
Teaching a Year 2 class from Monday to Wednesday
Potential opportunity to remain in the role for the full academic year
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils' academic and personal development
Working closely with colleagues and the wider school team
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a teacher who is:
Experienced and confident teaching Year 2
Reliable and committed to the full duration of the placement
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Confident with behaviour management
Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
Adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Passionate about providing high-quality education
