We are looking for a confident and charismatic hospitality professional who understands that the guest experience begins from the moment they arrive.
The Role
As Head Hostess, you will take ownership of the restaurant’s reception and reservations operation, ensuring a seamless and highly personalised experience for every guest.
You will:
- Lead, motivate and develop the reception and host team
- Oversee the guest journey from arrival through to departure
- Manage reservations, table allocations and seating plans effectively
- Handle VIP guests and special requests with confidence and discretion
- Build strong relationships with regular and high-profile clientele
- Work closely with the Restaurant Management team to maximise covers and ensure smooth service
- Maintain exceptional presentation and hospitality standards at all times
- Handle guest enquiries and challenging situations professionally
- Support the recruitment, training and development of the host team
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Head Hostess, Head Receptionist or Reception Manager within a luxury or high-end restaurant
- Has experience working within a busy, high-volume premium dining environment
- Is warm, polished and naturally confident with guests
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is comfortable managing VIP and international clientele
- Has strong reservations and table-management experience
- Can lead a team while remaining hands-on during service
- Has exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality
The Package
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum
