How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Social Housing Tech Specialist — Social Housing Software (SaaS) | £60-90k | Remote (UK-wide)


    We are hiring a social housing operations or technology expert; Someone who truly understands how social housing operates the challenges, workflows and technology requirements of housing providers. We will train you into a Product Manager.


    We need someone from a social housing operations, systems, digital or transformation background who wants to help shape the future of a critical housing technology platform. Product Management experience is beneficial, but deep sector knowledge is the priority.


    Our client is a leading provider of SaaS solutions to the UK social housing sector. Their complex platform supports housing providers with some of the most complex operational and regulatory processes in the industry.


    The Role

    • Use your understanding of social housing operations to influence product strategy and roadmap.
    • Work with housing providers to understand their challenges and improve technology solutions.
    • Help shape a complex housing management platform used across the sector.
    • Collaborate with customers, engineering, UX and internal teams to deliver meaningful improvements.
    • Bring your knowledge of housing processes and regulations into product decisions.


    Experience Required

    • Deep understanding of the UK social housing sector is essential.
    • Experience working within housing associations, local authorities, housing technology providers or housing transformation programmes.
    • Strong knowledge of housing operations, including areas such as: Repairs and maintenance, Rent and income management, Arrears, Compliance, Complaints, Tenancy and housing management processes
    • Understanding of the regulatory complexity and operational challenges faced by social housing providers.
    • Experience working with housing management systems, digital transformation or technology change.
    • Product Management experience is desirable but not essential — candidates with exceptional social housing expertise who can develop their product skills will be considered.
