How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We're supporting a global organisation at the forefront of scientific information and technology as they continue developing AI-powered products used within pharmaceutical research and early drug discovery.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior UX Researcher who enjoys tackling complex problems, influencing product direction, and helping shape innovative digital experiences in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

    Working alongside Product Managers, Designers and Technology teams, you'll play a key role in understanding user behaviours, needs and motivations, turning research insights into meaningful product decisions.

    As the successful Senior UX Researcher, you will be: 

    Leading discovery-focused UX research initiatives

    Planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research

    Running interviews, usability testing and UX surveys

    Identifying user needs and uncovering opportunities for innovation

    Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers and stakeholders

    Examining analytics data to support research strategies

    Communicating findings and recommendations in a clear and engaging way

    Contributing to research operations and maintaining research repositories

    To apply for the position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:

    Significant experience conducting discovery-focused UX research

    Strong experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

    Experience planning and executing UX interviews, surveys, and usability testing

    Ability to translate research findings into actionable insights

    Experience working with Product and Design teams throughout the product lifecycle

    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

    Candidates who can demonstrate the above as well as the below would be favoured; the below is very much a nice-to-have:

    Experience researching AI-powered products or tools

    Experience within scientific, pharmaceutical or research-focused environments

    Familiarity with Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) methodologies

    Contract Details

    Occasional travel to collaborate with the team

    35-hour week
