Mechanical Project Manager – D&B Fit Out

Location: London
Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 + package
Sector: Commercial Fit Out / Building Services

We’re working with a well-established Design & Build fit-out contractor who are looking to bring an experienced Mechanical Project Manager into their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager who enjoys being involved from pre-construction through to project completion, working closely with clients, consultants, designers and site teams to deliver high-quality projects.

The Role

Manage mechanical packages from design through to completion

*

Take overall responsibility for programme, commercial performance and delivery

*

Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors and suppliers

*

Manage project budgets, variations, procurement and commercial reporting

*

Attend client and design meetings

*

Lead and support site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and to programme

*

Ensure all works meet the required quality and technical standards

*

Manage commissioning, handover and close-out

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

*

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager

*

Strong mechanical building services knowledge

*

Experience working for a D&B MEP contractor or fit-out contractor

*

Commercial fit-out experience is highly desirable

*

Strong understanding of mechanical services, including HVAC, LTHW/CHW, domestic water and associated systems

*

Ability to manage projects from design through to handover

*

Strong client-facing and communication skills

*

Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and variations

Projects typically range from £500k – £5m+, with a strong pipeline of work across the commercial fit-out sector.
