We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a well-regarded school in the Bierton area. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with class teachers to plan and deliver lessons, providing targeted support to individuals and small groups.
Assist in developing and adapting learning resources to meet the diverse needs of students, in line with the school’s curriculum objectives.
Support assessment of student progress by providing constructive feedback to both students and teachers, and aid the implementation of improvement strategies.
Foster and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment by effectively applying the school’s behaviour management policies.
Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements, adapting approaches to suit varied learning styles.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed of current educational best practises and contribute to the school’s culture of learning.
Qualifications and Requirements
HLTA qualification or equivalent is essential.
Proven experience in a comparable school-based role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
