How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    CPCS Traffic Marshal - £14.80 per hour PAYE

    Long-Term Opportunity at RAF Brize Norton

    Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Traffic Marshal to join major long-term projects at RAF Brize Norton.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work on nationally significant Ministry of Defence infrastructure projects, with work expected to continue throughout 2026 and beyond.

    Projects include the £9 billion Ministry of Defence housing strategy, delivering 265 new-build military family homes, alongside major airfield resurfacing and infrastructure upgrades designed to modernise critical facilities at the UK's largest RAF station.

    Your Role as a CPCS Traffic Marshal

    Safely marshal vehicles entering, leaving and moving around the construction site
    Direct and control site traffic and deliveries
    Safely guide plant, HGVs and other vehicles into position
    Assist with vehicle movements in busy or restricted areas
    Maintain clear communication with drivers, plant operators and site teams
    Ensure pedestrians and vehicles are kept safely separated
    Monitor access and maintain safe traffic routes around the site
    Follow all site traffic management plans and procedures
    Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
    Report hazards, unsafe conditions and near misses immediately
    Support the wider site team when required
    Follow all site, health & safety and MOD procedures at all times

    What We're Looking For as a CPCS Traffic Marshal

    Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS Logo
    Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on a construction or civil engineering site
    Good understanding of vehicle and pedestrian safety
    Experience working around heavy plant, HGVs and construction machinery
    Strong awareness of site health & safety procedures
    Good communication skills
    Reliable, punctual and hardworking
    Able to work effectively as part of a busy site team
    Previous experience on large construction, infrastructure or civil engineering projects is advantageous

    Pay & Benefits

    £14.80 per hour PAYE
